My son James is my best friend but every daddy ( and mummy) needs some space. James is a delightful son but he doesn’t always understand risks, which is why we cannot leave him home alone. He wears nappies because his understanding of toileting is limited. We may require the child sitter to change his nappy. He is likely to take himself to bed when he is tired but sometimes needs ushering to his room.
