At Babysits, we respect your privacy and only process your personal data for the purpose for which you provided it, and in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and Telecommunications Act (NL). In order to make your profile searchable by other users, we post your profile to public search engines, like Google, so that you can match your needs as quickly as possible. This can be undone at any time by deleting your profile (note: it can take up to 4 weeks for your profile to be removed by search engines). We take your privacy very seriously, so your permission will always be asked if your personal information needs to be used for other purposes by us. We will not sell your personal information to third parties.

Information

Our web server automatically recognizes your domain name every time that you visit our website or mobile application. We save the following information to identify you when you visit our website or mobile application:

  • Your domain name (and not your email address) when you visit our website.

  • The domain name of other websites that you have visited to reach our platform.
  • All information that you provide voluntarily (e.g. research information and/or site registration).

  • Payment (parents and childminder agencies): for internal use to process your payment.
  • Profile information: for use of our service so that visitors of the website or mobile app can view your information. Babysits can't prevent third parties (such as search engines) from storing your public profile data temporarily. Other (job) websites can also display parts of public jobs or profiles in their search engines;

The information is only used internally and is not passed on to other organizations for commercial purposes.

In the case that we receive or transfer sensitive information such as financial or medical information, we will use a secure server. You will be informed of this through a screen that is shown on our platform (pop-up).
